This momentous sponsorship deal offers opportunity for collaboration across our staff and student cohorts, with the club acting as a key partner to the university over the past five years.

BSU’s Head of Communications and Brand, Lucy Stone said:

“Working with Bath City FC over the past couple of years has provided so many experiences and opportunities for our university community, especially our students. Now, we are so proud to be uniting the men’s, women’s and youth team’s kits for the first time in the club’s history. BSU is committed to our values of social inclusion and equality and being an important part of the local community, we can’t wait to back the Romans for the 2025/6 season.”

Jane Jones, Director of Women’s Football at Bath City FC said:

“Bath Spa University have been the back of shirt sponsor for the BCFC Women’s team from the outset and we’re so pleased that this season they are moving to the front. Our partnership with them is going from strength to strength, with more students gaining valuable experience through volunteering at the club or coming along to support the teams. Having the same front of shirt sponsor across all the teams is another great step forward to showing how the club values the men’s and women’s teams equally.”

Lucy added:

“We recently ran a competition for our students to design the third shirt for the Bath City FC teams for the 2025/6 season, and we were just overwhelmed by the response and creative talent on show. We are looking forward to unveiling the winning design later this year.”

As well as providing a platform for our students to volunteer and learn practical skills in a professional environment, Bath City Football Club is also a key figure in the local community and offers a space for students to enjoy sport at an affordable price.

Not only that, but Bath City FC Women’s team also boasts a BSU student in their ranks, with forward Esme Fensome, Business and Management student at BSU, also appearing in the club’s latest shirt launch.

Speaking about her time as a student and a player, Esme said:

“I love playing for the Bath City Women’s team and it feels so nice that the Uni I go to is so supportive of the club and wants to be part of our ongoing development.”

The new Bath City shirts are available to purchase now on the club website, with students also able to gain access to exclusive discounts on season tickets at Twerton Park.
